Terms of Service
Updated: June 1, 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ASIA Members Club (“AMC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, payment flow, forms, emails, messaging channels, curated introductions, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By using the Service, purchasing an introduction, becoming a Member, submitting an introduction brief, or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
What AMC Is
AMC is a curated introduction service. We help people access thoughtful personal introductions across Asia, starting with China.
AMC is not a directory, ranking system, review platform, networking platform, professional networking service, social club, community platform, travel agency, tour operator, employment agency, dating service, concierge marketplace, or guide marketplace. We are not an emergency service.
We do not sell access to a public list of people. We use human curation to evaluate requests and, where appropriate, make one or more personal introductions.
Curators and Vouching
The people we introduce you to (“Curators”) are accepted into AMC based on our own judgment, relationships, and personal trust. We vouch for them in the sense that we have chosen to bring them into the network and stand behind the introduction we make.
We do not, however, conduct formal background checks, criminal record searches, financial checks, identity verification, or third-party screening on every Curator, Member, or person involved in the Service. Our vouching reflects personal trust, not a legal warranty about any individual.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use AMC. By using the Service, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You can enter into a binding agreement
- The information you provide is accurate and truthful
- You will comply with applicable laws
- You will use the Service respectfully and in good faith
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access to the Service if we believe a user is under 18, has provided false information, has misused the Service, or may create safety, trust, legal, or reputational risk.
Products and Membership
AMC may offer one-time introductions, annual memberships, or other products. Current products may include:
- One Introduction (sometimes referred to in our checkout flow as “One City Pass”): one curated personal introduction in a city we currently operate in
- Member 2026: annual membership with ongoing access to introductions and AMC benefits, subject to availability, product evolution, and these Terms
We may change, pause, remove, or add products, features, pricing, benefits, or membership types at any time. Certain features, cities, introductions, events, or benefits may not be available to all users.
Introduction Brief
To provide the Service, we may ask you to complete an introduction brief or provide additional context.
The 48-hour match/refund window, where applicable, begins only after we receive your completed introduction brief and have enough information to evaluate your request.
If you do not provide sufficient information, provide inaccurate information, become unreachable, or delay your response, we may be unable to provide the Service within the expected timeframe.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information.
You agree to pay all applicable fees shown at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect payments already completed.
For recurring memberships, your subscription may automatically renew until canceled, depending on the terms shown at checkout and the payment provider’s rules. You are responsible for managing or canceling your subscription through the applicable payment flow or by contacting us.
Refunds
For the One Introduction product, if we cannot identify a strong potential match within 48 hours after receiving your completed introduction brief, we will issue a full refund.
Refund eligibility depends on our assessment of whether we can reasonably make a thoughtful introduction based on your request, timing, location, availability, and the information you provide. Refunds may not be available where:
- You have already received an introduction
- You provided inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information
- You became unreachable or failed to respond
- You changed your travel plans after submitting your request
- You requested something outside the scope of AMC
- You violated these Terms
- The payment was disputed, charged back, or flagged for fraud
- The relevant product or membership terms state otherwise
Annual memberships are generally non-refundable once a Member’s first introduction has been made or any membership benefit has been used, unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed by us in writing. We may issue refunds at our discretion in exceptional cases.
No Guarantee of Outcome
AMC does not guarantee that any introduction will lead to friendship, business, investment, romance, employment, collaboration, social access, travel outcomes, or any particular experience.
We do not guarantee that any user, Member, Curator, or introduced person will respond, meet, continue communicating, or behave in a particular way. Our role is to use reasonable efforts and judgment to curate introductions. The outcome of any interaction depends on the people involved.
User Interactions and In-Person Meetings
You are solely responsible for your interactions with people you meet through AMC, whether online or offline.
AMC is not responsible for the conduct, statements, actions, omissions, background, identity, safety, legality, suitability, or reliability of any user, Member, Curator, introduced person, venue, event, establishment, or third party.
As stated above, we do not conduct comprehensive background checks, criminal checks, financial checks, identity verification, or in-person safety checks on every person involved in the Service.
You agree to use caution, independent judgment, and common sense when communicating with or meeting anyone. Meet in public places when appropriate, tell someone you trust where you are going, and do not share sensitive personal, financial, or security information with people you do not know well.
You understand that in-person meetings involve risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume those risks.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal, harmful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, exploitative, or unsafe purposes
- Misrepresent your identity, background, affiliation, location, intentions, or availability
- Submit false, misleading, offensive, explicit, discriminatory, or unlawful content
- Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, intimidate, or harm any person
- Use AMC to solicit, spam, recruit, sell to, advertise to, or exploit other users without permission
- Harvest contact information or use information from AMC for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Share private information about another person without consent
- Circumvent, interfere with, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service in a way that damages AMC, our users, our Members, our Curators, our partners, or our reputation
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
We may investigate, restrict, suspend, remove, or terminate access for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or undermines the trust and safety of AMC.
User Content
You are responsible for any information, text, images, links, profiles, messages, preferences, or other content you submit to AMC (“User Content”).
You represent that you have the right to provide your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
By submitting User Content, you give AMC a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, use, reproduce, adapt, display, and share it as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, improve, protect, and promote the Service. We may remove or decline to use User Content at our discretion.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using AMC, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
AMC may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, messaging apps, email providers, analytics tools, maps, social platforms, venues, and other websites.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, actions, security, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.
Intellectual Property
AMC owns or licenses all rights in the Service, including our website, brand, design, text, graphics, logos, software, workflows, databases, and related materials.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reproduce, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission. You may use the Service only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.
Service Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
We may test features with certain users or make certain benefits available only to specific users, cities, cohorts, or membership types. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
Termination
You may stop using AMC at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, misused the Service, provided false information, or otherwise acted inconsistently with the trust, safety, or purpose of AMC.
Termination does not limit our right to retain information where permitted by our Privacy Policy or applicable law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMC disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, safety, quality, or suitability.
AMC does not warrant that any introduction, person, place, event, recommendation, message, or interaction will meet your expectations or be safe, successful, enjoyable, profitable, or suitable.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMC and its founders, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, partners, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or damages arising from your interactions with other people or third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMC’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to AMC for the specific product or membership giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMC and its founders, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, partners, service providers, and licensors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party right
- Your User Content
- Your interactions, meetings, communications, or disputes with other users, Members, Curators, introduced persons, venues, or third parties
Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to email us a written notice describing your concern, the facts supporting it, and the relief you seek. We will try to resolve the matter in good faith.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service will be governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts or dispute resolution forum located in Hong Kong, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
You agree not to bring or participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding against AMC to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Notices
We may provide notices to you by email, website posting, messaging app, or other reasonable means. You are responsible for keeping your contact information accurate and current.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms shown at checkout or communicated by us in writing, form the entire agreement between you and AMC regarding the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights or obligations in connection with a business transaction, restructuring, or operation of the Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
